MCskill ThaPreacha & Stormatique share their new ‘NUCLEUS Vol. 2’ EP.

Nigerian MC MCskill ThaPreacha returns with the second part of the NUCLEUS series. This time he joins forces with another veteran producer “Stormatique” on the 4-track EP.

The project kicks off with “Awakening”; A 3 minute long cypher that has MCskill dropping lots of quotable bars over a soulful boombap beat. On the second track “Without Aid”, ThaPreacha goes into his natural conscious mode and this time talks about drugs and liquor abuse especially amongst young and prospective artistes. On the third song “New Beginnings” which has quite a happy feel to it, MCskill talks about his friend zone experience whilst also celebrating his freedom from it.

The MC continues on his conscious route on the final song “Criminals”. He talks about Internet fraud, a menace which has rocked his country Nigeria for a long time now. He also calls out corrupt government officials who are no different from internet fraudsters.

NUCLEUS Vol. 2 is a well executed short project that sees MCskill ThaPreacha make a compelling statement over Stormatique’s solid production.
