Trinidad James Joins Madalen Duke on ‘Hitlist’.

Vancouver singer/songwriter Madalen Duke’s voice is not from this dimension. An urban-styled Ellie Goulding meets Lana Del Ray, her lustful vocals over twinkling synths and soft bass lines courtesy of Roofeo will give you goosebumps on the first listen. Check out her single ‘Hitlist‘. At the young age of 13, Madalen Duke began writing her own music taking inspiration from some of her childhood favorite musicians – Daughter, Kanye West, Fleet Foxes, Gwen Stefani, and Ben Howard – this singer/songwriter has spent the last few months crafting her forthcoming project which rolls out with her debut, emotion-fueled single, “Hitlist” which features Trinidad James.

By 16 years old, she wrote and released her first EP, Carnival, while also preparing her live performance at local talent shows in Vancouver. Musical theater and songwriting consumed Madalen’s life throughout high school as she moved to Vancouver to study creative writing, while pursuing her dream of music. It was there that she found her sound – a scintillating hybrid of pop, electro, and house with an expansive vocal range.

Recently signing to Dre London Entertainment (Post Malone & FKi 1st), Madalen Duke sharpens high fashion pop with a raw Hip-Hop edge creating a unique blend of sounds that is sure to turns heads immediately.
