Jim Jones - Takes Us to Harlem for 'Wasted Talent' Private Listening Experience

On Wednesday, April 11th, 2018, hip hop and fashion icon, reality television star, entrepreneur, and entertainment mogul Jim Jones hosted a private listening experience for his first album under Roc Nation Management, through Empire distribution – Wasted Talent. 

The experience was held at the Picture for the Homeless headquarters a place where growing up Jones was always welcomed. Greeted with a New Jack City vibe, guests were given “wasted dollars” upon arrival to play Cee-lo, card games, and purchase VampLife merchandise. There was also a private room where guests indulged further in the experience. “I wanted ya’ll to feel how it is to be in Harlem sometimes so we turned this into Harlem” says Jones.

The experience speaks to the loyalty Jones has to his community and represents the Harlem passion behind the Wasted Talent album. Silent listening experience was provided by SoundOffExperience.

DJ Spazo of Hot 97 emceed while guests enjoyed cocktails provided by Dusse, Ciroc, Bartenura and Disaronno. Catering was provided by Nelli’s Kitchen. Lyft provided rides to and from the event.

Special guests included Johnny Nunez, LowKey, Mr. Mecc, Dominican Drew, QueenzFlip, Mr. Commodore, Neek Bucks, Par-City, and more.
