The talented Kydd Jones releases new deluxe addition of his “Onyx D’Or (No More Waiting)” album.
Kydd Jones returns to South By South West after three long years with his new project in tow. The born and raised Austinite’s 2022 release, Onyx D’Or (No More Waiting), includes features from 300 Entertainment signee Felly and EMPIRE signee Quin NFN as well as fellow Austin-based artists Jackie Venson, Tank Washington and Y2.
Jones had a busy 2021 with performances at Moody Amphitheater and Blues On The Green alongside Grammy Award-winning guitarist Gary Clark Jr; going on a Southwestern US tour with dates in Marfa, San Antonio and Santa Fe among other cities; headlining at Dell Diamond for a postgame concert with the Round Rock Express; and also holding his first runway show at The Domain for Austin Fashion Week.

Jones’ SXSW exploits this year include the BMI Howdy Texas day party on March 16th, his official showcase at the Sheraton downtown on March 17th, and the Arlyn Studio party on March 19th, followed by another installation of Kydd’s Comedy Jam events at the historic Antone’s Nightclub in downtown Austin on March 30th. Kydd is also releasing a special 1 of 1 NFT on Opensea to commemorate his SXSW 2022. Upon purchase of the NFT, the buyer will also receive a free copy of the album along with a t-shirt and a 4 person table for the Kydd Jones Comedy Jam at Antone’s.
