Omari Hardwick shares his opinion on Jay-Z’s partnership with NFL.

Actor Omari Hardwick, who plays the role of Ghost on ‘Power,’ just sat down with Swaggy Sie on “The Heat Wave” on SiriusXM’s The Heat to promote the 6th season of “Power” debuting this Sunday on STARZ.

The actor shares some interesting viewpoints into Jay-Z‘s partnership with the NFL, as the rapper has been getting criticized across all social media. The quote that stood out the most is, “With Jay-Z, with all of his power, all of that with it (50 would be the same way) to not act on it and go, ‘Listen Goddell, listen, Commissioner and team, being from the hood and now going to the heights of life that I made it to, these are some steps I think could activate that which Kaepernick and others like him want to activate as opposed to simply going, ‘I’m protesting.'”

Swaggy Sie’s “The Heat Wave” airs Monday through Friday from 6am – 12pm EST on Sirius XM’s The Heat.
