POP Buchanan pay homage on new album, “Ancestral Drums.”
Brooklyn lyricist POP Buchanan has been busy building a top podcast on Sobriety and Hip Hop, launching a production company, and record label “Sober is Dope”. POP partners up with NJ producer Nudgi-Nudge and ED-APE to put together a powerful album experience with “Ancestral Drums.”
This album marks the anniversary of the viral SoundCloud mixtape, “Ancestral Drums.” POP Buchanan wanted to pay homage to his family members that passed away, his ancestors, and to the African Diaspora. “Ancestral Drums” is a short but powerful album with an intentional message shedding light on love, art, boom bap, and African origins of music through drums and sound.
