Steven Malcolm Releases New Album, ‘Tree’

Steven Malcolm - Tree (LP)

Steven Malcolm is back with his new album called “Tree.”

“This being my third studio album focused on the growth and fruit that came from a foundation rooted in truth,” says Malcolm. “I stood firm throughout my life and now I’m seeing the fruit of my labor, LEGACY! The gift that continues to bear fruit. Thank you and many blessings to my fans worldwide.”

Tree is an eclectic depiction of Malcolm’s past, present, and future. Each song digs deep into the peaks and valleys that shaped the rapper we currently know. Anticipation for the albumheightened last week when Malcolm shook up the faith-based music community with a blazing hot music video for “Summertime.”

Since releasing his self-titled major-label debut in 2017, Malcolm continues to captivate listeners with spellbinding anthems that celebrate his love for Jesus and the unifying force of hip-hop. Songs like the Top 40 Christian hit “Not To Us / Good Love,” “Party in the Hills,” and the Dove-nominated “Even Louder” remix featuring 8x Grammy Award-nominee Natalie Grant demonstrate Malcolm’s enthusiasm to share his messages with a broad audience. The genre-blending rhymer recently accumulated more than 70 million combined DSP streams with the global smash “Fuego (Remix)” featuring Grammy Award-winner Shaggy reaching 6.1 million collective streams alone.

Malcolm continues to blur boundaries with Tree. The album includes star-studded production by Sango (Xavier Omar), BoogzDaBeast (Kanye West), FNZ (A$AP Rocky), and Social House (MGK). He even taps a few CHH homies like Derek Minor, KB, Ty Brasel, Canon, and Social Club Misfits to give Tree an extra oomph. Tree illuminates Malcolm’s growing artistry, spiritual depth, and versatility as a hip-hop artist.
