Nems drops new single ‘Where You Know Me From’ featuring Conway.

Born and raised in the infamous Coney Island section of Brooklyn, NEMS started making his rounds as soon as he started writing raps at the age of 15. Winning almost every notable competition in NYC he started gaining attention from his peers and record labels alike.

After numerous legendary radio freestyles (Kay Slay, Statik Selektah, Tony Touch, etc.) NEMS focused on his FYL Brand. Starting a comedy series (GORILLAtv), dropping and selling out FYL merchandise every week, acting, and a weekly freestyle series.

NEMS has amassed a cult like following on his own with no major backing. Fans from Nebraska to Australia and everywhere in between can be seen sporting NEMS and FYL tattoos.

In 2019, NEMS will be releasing a collaborative album with Ill Bill and today he releases the first single, “Where You Know Me From,” from his forthcoming solo album, Gorilla Monsoon, which will be released on 5-24-19. “Where You Know Me From” features Griselda/Shady Records artist Conway.
