Soaky Siren – Dope Boys

Soaky Siren makes her debut on SpitFireHipHop with her new ‘Dope Boys’ single.

Soaky Siren is one of the hottest up-and-coming acts to hit the stage. Born and raised in the Bahamas, Soaky has made quite a splash in the LA music scene and if her name sounds familiar it’s probably because she’s worked with some of your favorite artists before. She co-wrote Jason Derulo‘s single “Tip Toe” ft. French Montana, as well as Sean Paul, David Guetta, and Becky G’s “Mad Love,” and Rita Ora and Chris Brown’s “Body On Me.”

Her songwriting talents landed her a Latin Grammy nomination in 2017 for Best Urban Song when she co-wrote the nominated single “Hey Ma” for Camila Cabello, Pitbull and J Balvin. Since then she’s released three other singles, “Kombucha,” “Upside Down,” and “Quality.”

Now, Soaky is focused on her latest single ‘Dope Boys‘ which tells the story of a drug dealer whose reign has made dope boys rich and powerful, only to cost them their lives and freedom. In the track, Soaky recounts a time when she romanticized the dope boy lifestyle because the luxuries that once seemed so out of reach were now seen as a guarantee; risks and consequence didn’t matter. Lost lives and freedom would eventually, make the consequences all too real.
