Toka Fly – No Tekashi

Toka Fly make his debut on SpitFireHipHop with ‘No Tekashi’.

Ohio born MC Toka Fly isn’t any stranger to the streets, or prison for that matter. Following a 7-year bid, Toka turned his attention towards music and has been grinding ever since with a slew of new material on the way. The return of the controversial Tekashi 6ix9ine didn’t sit well with Toka.

6ix9ine’s glorification of being a snitch on his new single “Gooba” and the mocking of the street life on his Instagram inspired Toka to pull out one of Hip-Hop’s most famous instrumentals, Nas’s “Got Ur Self A…”, and speak his truth and provide direct warnings to 6ix9ine with powerful results. Toka even uses 6ix9ine’s own lyrics from “Gooba” back at him:

“Is you stupid or dumb? You a damn clown/you supposed to fight, win or lose, without a damn sound”

The song also delves into Toka’s own situation where he was taken down by a wire wearing informant and provides the stark reminder to 6ix9ine that no matter what, the streets always win. The song will go down as another historic moment in the history of diss songs echoing the same ferociousness as 50 Cent’sBack Down” and Pusha T’s “The Story of Adidon.”
