JiMMY BRiCKZ is back with his third single in a month, this time accompanied by fellow SmashMouth Entertainment signee DillanPonders.
Over an eery beat produced by M Mac (credits include Lil B, Riff Raff) “3 CAPS” is a song in three acts, through which the Toronto emcees explore their city at night — not the downtown party you’ve heard about, but the gritty outskirts, from the perspective of of two men riding around putting in work. JiMMY BRiCKZ and DillanPonders switch flows with their scenes, showcasing new perspectives of old, forgotten spaces.
The track is the third single of JiMMY’s upcoming BRiCK Tape EP coming before the end of the year.
The EP was meticulously assembled by JiMMY and his longtime engineer Krinny (Jazz Cartier, 88Glam, Kirk Knight), and features production from FrancisGotHeat, Cian P (Lil Peep, Wifisfuneral, Pouya), and Litewrks (Nue, Tre Mission) as well as vocal features from fellow Toronto artists DillanPonders and Faiza.Â
