Jadakiss releases the live “Who Shot Ya” freestyle from the LOX Verzuz battle with Dipset.
Hip-Hop is still talking about the Verzuz battle between Yonkers’ own The LOX and Harlem’s Dipset. You have to admit the battle was legendary. Jadakiss spit rhymes that leveled any chances the Harlem group had of coming out victorious. These Verzuz battles appear to friendly but we guess no told Jadakiss. The internet went crazy after hearing the fire Jada spit at Dipset.
The track was released with two different versions. The first is the live version with the crowd noise, and the second is the studio version.
“All praises, all burners, all razors/Hands down n-gga the game is all Jada’s/Something hot drop I get ’em in all flavors/He’s a dick, you pussy y’all neighbors,” Jada raps in the opening lines. “Yeah, two extra whores/I’m in the new Aston with two extra doors/With a quick flip I don’t try to stretch for more/One hundred percent powder, extra raw.”
People thought Jadakiss made up the freestyle on the spot at Verzuz, but blog-era fans know the song comes from Jadakiss’ infamous DJ Drama The Champ Is Here 3 mixtape from 2010.
