Onaje Jordan and Tone Beatz drop two new singles with “Big Boy” and “Power Gun.”
It’s a double-blast of cinematic sound this morning. South Side Chicago beat-scion Onaje Jordan and Atlanta production don, Tone Beatz have leaked a track each from their forthcoming joint production LP, Alpha.
“Big Boy” is Onaje’s contribution and features verbal heat from his Hometeam brethren Charlie Chan and Southside Jonesy as well as turntable cuts courtesy of Joe Mack. “Powergun” is a Tone Beatz jawn featuring a triple lyrical threat of Mrk Sx, G Fam Black and Wizisbeast.
To drop “October 29th” the project features ten tracks (with a bonus track included on the physical editions) with an array of impressive spitters. Speaking on the link-up between him and Tone Beatz for the project Onaje said “it’s a mutual respect thing between us. Both of us are more on the silent tip and prefer to let our music do the talking. All of the emcees and DJ’s we used on this project are family to us so Alpha in essence is like one big family reunion.
