Dutch Brown Doesn’t Practice Social Distancing On “Send Em”

Dutch Brown - Send Em

Dutch Brown officially makes his SpitFireHipHop debut with “Send Em.”

Audio for new single from Fly Family artist Dutch Brown has leaked this morning. “Send Em” (first premiered by Weekly Rap Gods is an example of the Harlem rep’s spittin’ ability over a dark instrumental canvas (provided by Norway’s Ben Jesus). This is also the first leak from the forthcoming Deus Per Vicos LP mostly produced by Jesus (with one beat by Marcin) and executive produced by Fly Family boss / Lord Mobb Rep G4 Jag.

Though this is probably his nation-wide introduction to many years, it must be stressed that Dutch brown is no new jack. Known in his youth throughout uptown NYC (the same hoods that gave the world Big L, Jim Jones, Cam’ron and Black Rob) he conquered street corner by street corner via cypher and battle. Among his admirers a young G4 Jag who recalls “Dutch was always one of my favorite lyricists even before I was a rapper. He influenced a lot of the bar spitters coming up.”

Thus the significance of the album title which translates from Latin to mean “God through the villages.”

Speaking on the significance of the title Brown said “you know how in the old villages, before newspapers, news would travel mouth to mouth? That’s what it was like back in the days battling someone who was nice on their block and then someone would mention someone on the next block who ruled there and I would go there. Whispers would spread about this kid who would go block to block taking out spitters. My rep was street certified.”

Look out for “Deus Per Vicos” LP on March 11, with G4 Jag as the executive produced.
