Young Black And Gifted share their new “Day Ones” single
Rochester hip-hop duo Young Black And Gifted return with a new single titled “Day Ones.” This is a soulful boom-bap track that producer Kidd Called Quest excels at. Emcee Azariah delivers some deep bars about his near two-decade long relationship with Kidd.
This loosie is the first new work from Young Black And Gifted since 2021’s “The Oath.” However both members have been very active on their own projects in-between including Azariah’s recent release Phase III Blessed And Highly Favored (Produced by Laddie).
Kidd Called Quest has been releasing a string of singles for artists including Pretty Bulli, Curtis Coke, Jae Hussle and a recent EP with St. Paul MN emcee Ken-C entitled The Kendrick Cole EP.
