Game Sued Over Beat On “California Republic” Mixtape

Game SuedGame is facing a lawsuit over a beat on his recent mixtape, for which the producer says he never got paid.

Game is facing a lawsuit over a beat on his most recent mixtape, California Republic.

Producer Infamous filed the suit in California, saying he worked with Game often, and so didn’t mind sending him a beat back in 2010 for Game to decide whether or not he wanted to use it.

Now Infamous says the beat is used on “Skate On,” off California Republic. Infamous says he sent a letter to the Cali emcee in April but got no response.

Although Infamous usually charges $20-$25,000 per song, he’s suing Game for damages in excess of $100,000.
