Nas – State Of Georgia To Garnish $1 Million Of Tour Revenue

NasThe Georgia Department of Revenue has received an order demanding Nas to hand over $1 million from his tour with Lauryn Hill in order to cover his tax debt.

It appears Nas will be paying the State of Georgia after all. He is being ordered to give a large amount of his earnings from his tour to repay his tax debt in Georgia.

TMZ reports that Nas owes The Georgia Department of Revenue $1,083,435  from unpaid taxes over the years 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010. According to court documents filed by GDR, they have obtained an order demanding that Live Nation, the company behind Nas’ tour with Lauryn Hill, garnish his wages until his debt is covered.

A rep for Nas says these matters have already been settled, but the Department of Revenue says otherwise, insisting the case is still open and they’re trying to collect.

The tour that includes Lauryn Hill is on the move and is destined to have a huge pay day.
