Game And Stat Quo – Form “Rolex Records” Label

Game & Stat QuoThe Game and Stat Quo will soon be back in the same study once again, after word that they have formed a new record label.

Game‘s Jesus Piece will be his last contractually obligated record with Interscope. He will begin putting out projects under his newly formed Rolex Records, with Stat Quo.

“I just started a new record label, Rolex Records, and we’re going to get off the ground and see if we can move,” he told Billboard. The decision to pair up with Stat Quo stems from a longtime camaraderie. “He was signed to Aftermath with me in the beginning. Now we’re business partners, which is cool because he was a good friend of mine and he’s just as equally music smart so we’ll see how it goes.”

The label will serve as an outlet for his new music, as “that is the idea behind it,” but for the time being, that’s about it. No plans yet to sign any artists yet, or at least, “no one that needs notoriety right now.”

Having found an office space in LA, Game says they’re still “in the baby stages. We’ve been up and running for about 30 days. We’re gonna do it big though.”
