50 Cent – Saw It Coming, Chief Keef’s Legal Troubles

50 Cent - Calls French Montana "The New Ja Rule"50 Cent wishes the best for the young rap star.

We all know that Keef did not show for the video ‘Hate Bein’ Sober’, and of course 50 was not happy about this. Even more, he continues to show his support for Keef.

In an interview with MTV, 50 also claims to have predicted Keef’s trouble with the law. “With Chief Keef, it’s unfortunate to hear that he’s actually locked up,” Mr. Jackson sympathized. “I feel bad, because I feel like I knew that was gonna happen. I knew what continues to happen afterwards if you let it spiral out of control.”

50 Cent also commented on the failed shoot for “Hate Bein’ Sober”, holding no hard feelings toward Keef. “I haven’t been in communications with him following that, and I wish him the best”, 50 said, just before complimenting Keef’s DIY aesthetic. “Chief Keef, I think he has something, obviously. Even within the system, no one has done anything for Chief Keef. He’s still just this raw music, raw talent, because he shot all of these music videos in the living room”.

50 says he admired Keef’s lo-fi video production. “He hasn’t had a music video that cost more than $4,000, so that should indicate to other young talent out there that they can do it with the means they have around them”, he said. “Their telephone can serve as the actual video camera if you record the right in-studio performances. There are limitless opportunities out here now.”
