Cassidy – To Work With Pastor Jomo K. Johnson On EP

Cassidy - Cheers1Cassidy has announced plans for an EP with Pastor Jomo K. Johnson of Philadelphia, as well as a biography.

Cassidy has been heavy on the internet since beefing with Meek Mill. He is now making music with a church pastor.

Cassidy is teaming up with Pastor Jomo K. Johnson of Philly Open Air Church who once called for a ban on Meek Mill’s “Amen” track. This may be the very first rapper/pastor collaboration, although Creflo Dollar did appear in the Ludacris ‘Welcome to Atlanta’ video. Apparently the proceeds from the EP will go toward two Philadelphia charities.

In addition to an EP, Cassidy has signed a book deal with GGIS Publishing for a biography on his life. The book will be an “amazing testimony of finding Christ during his incarceration, a near-fatal car accident, and a commitment to make positive change in his life.” It is scheduled for release in March.
