Lil Wayne spoke with Miami’s 99 JAMZ to discuss his recent rant from the weekend and says he regrets nothing other than the “f*ck Lebron James” comment.
Lil Wayne has opened up about his comments from the other night and says he regrets NOTHING, except the “f*ck Lebron James” comment.
On Wednesday evening, Lil Wayne called into Miami’s 99 JAMZ and spoke with Felisha Monet on air about his issues with the Miami Heat, and his harsh comment from this past weekend.
During the interview, Wayne says that not only was he not allowed to participate in the Slam Dunk contest alongside Gerald Green, but David Stern had him pulled from performing next to Alicia Keys during the halftime of Sunday’s game.
“Let me start off by saying, I don’t apologize for that night, I don’t apologize for being who I am. That’s who I am, this is who I am, and yes I did say those things. Only thing I do want to take back from saying that night is I said ‘F**k LeBron,’ I didn’t mean to say that because me and LeBron we are cool and I’m really cool with his mom and we have a real good relationship, and that’s my homie but it just slipped out. I didn’t mean to say that. Other than that though I don’t take nothing back.”
