Sha Money XL – Named EVP Of Urban A&R For Epic

Sha Money Sha Money XL is on the move. He is moving from Def Jam to Epic Records.

Michael “Sha Money XL” Clervoix, who once served as president of G-Unit Records, and has recently represented 2 Chainz and Big K.R.I.T. as SVP of A&R for Island Def Jam, has now been named EVP of Urban A&R for Epic Records.

Chairman and CEO of Epic, L.A. Reid expressed this about Sha, “Sha Money has time and again proven to be a cultural leader and has my complete support in ushering in the next generation of hip-hop stars,”

Sha had this to say about his new position, “As I embark on this new Epic journey,” remarked Sha Money, “I have a great vision for what the new record industry should be like, the music, the experience and lifestyle.”

Sha’s role at Epic will be to oversee artistic development, as well as some aspects of recording, as well as further developing the urban roster of the label.
