Kanye West - Calls Out At Jay Z During Stop In Seattle

Is the Throne beginning to show signs of deterioration? Every dynasty in history has fallen and we guess that Kanye and Jay Z are not immune.

Kanye West packed KeyArena with a crowd of similarly-dressed but otherwise diverse young fans and followers Wednesday. Kanye began the set with Pastor T.L. Barrett’s “Father I Stretch My Hands” blaring in the arena’s address system. The Barrett sample appeared on West’s album “The Life of Pablo,” on the track “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1,” which West followed with “Pt. 2” and “Famous.”

So have reported that the riff between Kanye and Jay Z started with the Tidal vs Apple situation. Kanye West says that some “some Tidal/Apple bullshit” has killed any chance for a sequel to his 2011 collaborative album with Jay Z, Watch The Throne. West made the announcement during his nigh-customary mid-show airing of grievances on a Seattle tour date, stopping three times to enumerate the various kinds of shit that were vexing him.

It gets better as it appears that things are now personal between the two. Kanye West complained that their kids have never played together, and that Jay Z barely reached out after Kim Kardashian’s armed robbery. “Don’t call me after the robbery and say, ‘How you feelin?’ You wanna know how I’m feelin’? Come by the house,” West said. It was the kind of heartfelt, honest moment that can only be shared while atop a floating stage in front of thousands of strangers. Let’s see where this will go.
