Rapper Paul Wall surprises Slim Thug at Checkers.
Earlier this year, fans spotted Houston Rapper Slim Thug working the drive-thru line at a Houston-based Checkers. The now viral video highlighted Slim Thug taking orders as his first day as drive thru manager. Things have progressed for the legendary rapper as he now has his own menu item at Checkers. Every Houston Checkers location now offers the “Big Slim” meal which consists of a double-meat patty with extra cheese and bacon. For a limited time, Houstonians can also receive a 44oz cup with Slim Thug’s face on it.
On Tuesday, December 6th, Rapper Paul Wall surprised Slim Thug while he was hard at work at Checkers. Paul drove through the drive-thru, ordered a Big Slim Meal and drove up to the window where the 2 showed each other some love while Slim Thug was completely in shock to see his long-time friend.
Slim Thug was recently quoted saying, “I’m so grateful to Checkers for giving me an opportunity to work with them. This is my first real job, and I’ve worked hard putting together “The Big Slim” which is my favorite menu item.”
