Nike gave Jason Kidd his first signature shoe after leading the NBA in triple-doubles his rookie year. The Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 featured two large pods that gave the shoe a divisive look that was unlike any before it.
The sneaker made a comeback in 2008, and brand new colors are available now at House of Hoops by Foot Locker. The “Cal Golden Bears†colorway pays homage to the amazing collegiate career Kidd had at Berkley, where his number is now hanging in the rafters. His stint their made him the number two overall draft pick. The “New Jersey Nets†makeup commemorates Kidd’s time with the New Jersey squad, which resulted in two trips to the NBA finals. Both pair feather white midsoles, clear outsoles, and Kidd’s customary number “5†on the tongue. The retro Jason Kidd logo is present on the bottom of the sole.
