According to the AP story, Nike is filing a lawsuit against the three former Nike designers that claims at least $10 million in damages.  Nike said the former designers, Marc Dolce, Mark Miner, and senior design director Denis Dekovic, started consulting for adidas while still working at the company, violating their non-compete agreements.

In the suit, Nike alleges that Dolce, Dekovic, and Miner pitched the idea of the adidas Brooklyn design studio in April, as well as promised to bring with them info and intel of Nike’s design plans for the next several years.  Also in the suit, Nike claims that “the designers copied sensitive design and business documents from their computers, including drawings for an unreleased shoe made for one of Nike’s sponsored athletes”.
