Reebok’s partnership with Swizz Beatz continues to bear fruit with today’s announcement of his disruptive new silhouette the SwizzBeatz 2018 DMX Series 2000.
Working in an official capacity as a Creative Director for Reebok, Swizz, while being a force in the music industry and one of its foremost hip hop producers, is equally celebrated for his artistry and avant-garde style. His budding sneaker embraces those qualities with a design language that not only speaks to his personal taste, but digs into Reebok’s archive to overhaul DMX technology.
Focusing on a neoprene upper juxtaposed against an asymmetrical lacing structure, the bold and daring silhouette in is line with Reebok’s aggressive approach to redefine its design narrative.
“I wanted to do something with Reebok that was different than what we’ve done together in the past,†said Swizz. “I wanted to celebrate the “disrupters†aka the Disruptive Kind on all levels.â€
Reebok’s SwizzBeatz 2018 DMX Series 2000 is available in a white colorway today for $140 at Reebok.com. An orange colorway will follow on August 3rd.
