DJ Alkemy releases this new funk themed single titled “Stank” featuring Fire Team Alpha.
Producer and all-around music fanatic DJ Alkemy stays active being one half of Applied Science & Wasp-18b, one-third of Mise en Garde, member of Fire Team Alpha, and part of the Mean Business Records family. His latest self produced single Stank FT. Fire Team Alpha is a follow up to their Ambrosia posse cut which was played numerous times on DJ Premier’s “Live From HeadQCouterz” radio show.
“The theme is funk. The stank. That face you pull when the beat KNOCKS. It just so happens that the release date is near Halloween. That totally fits in with the vibe of the track as G-Spot, who did the cuts, added a Vincent Price vocal into the mix” says Alkemy. This track will be the first of many weekly releases to celebrate the publishing of the new website DJALKEMY.CO.UK.
