Notion connects with Cee, Myer Clarity and Jonathan Emile for the new ‘Hurt’ visual.
Notion’s debut album ‘Heart On My Sleeve’ dropped back in April with a bang, and while he already dropped four visuals from the project (‘Holdin’ Hands’, ‘Remember Me?’ and ‘Goin’ For Gold’, plus the ‘Spaceman’ lyric video), the Toronto via Australia MC is back with his latest opus in the haunting ‘Hurt’.
Once again helmed by King Richard with assistance from 9 Block Productions, ‘Hurt‘Â follows the four MCs through a dusty Quebec summer, with Notion commandeering a beat up vehicle picking up hitchhiking rappers while they all speak their truth about the pain in their respective lives. Jonathan Emile’s moving, reggae-infused hook paves the way for reality bars over Myer Clarity’s sample-laden, boom bap production.
