In DillanPonders: Decoded the SHROOM DADDY gives us rare and unique insight into his mind. In the video, Ponders speaks to the inspiration and creative process behind his fans’ favourite lyrics, from projects including MATRIX, NO MANS LAND, ACID REIGN and COMATOSE.
In early August Ponders launched a callout for fans to submit what bars they wanted to learn about. The lyrics with the most votes would be decoded. After an overwhelming response, Ponders narrowed it down to the top five, with lyrics from across his career.
The stories behind the music are irreverent, emotional and psychedelic, just as you would expect from Ponders himself.
