Ace Hood releases the video for his single “Popovitch,” off of his recent “Mr. Hood” project. This project has fared extremely well with fans as Ace nears 3 million monthly listeners on Spotify and the project has cracked over 50 million streams across all DSP’s.
Alex Heider directed this video, as it’s filmed in Ace’s second home of the gym. The plot of it is him mentoring a young basketball player who has issues managing expectations, with the video starting off with him giving the young man some motivational advice.
When speaking on this video Ace said, “‘Popovitch’ is all about energy, straight to the point, sort of like how Greg Popovitch is as a coach. It’s a reminder to always place your best foot forward and finishing strong. This is a sound for champions!” Ace looks to close the year strong and has a lot in store as far as visual content and more new music in 2021.
