Young RJ is back with the “World Tour” lyric video featuring Pete Rock and Rebel Kuzco.

As the protege of the late, great J Dilla, rapper/producer Young RJ has not only done well with the legacy of one of Detroit’s most important Hip-Hop groups Slum Village, but he’s also managed to carve a lane of his own.

With high profile production credits on songs by 50 Cent, Proof (of D12), Little Brother, among others after over a decade of paying dues, his career as a prolific producer and solo artist still show even more promise. With the release of his third full-length solo album World Tour today (9/23/2022), Young RJ shares the the vibrant, galactic visuals by Vice Souletric for the album’s opener and title track, featuring Pete Rock and Rebel Kuzco of Rosewood 2055.

Young RJ Makes You Put Your Hands Up On “World Tour” Album

I missed being out there with the fans performing. It felt right to title [the album ‘World Tour’]There were so many things going on all over the world while recording, it was hard to focus… To take my mind away from the news of everything that was going on around me – capitol riots, missing family members, not being able to see them, etc.–I put all my focus into being creative… [This album] captures everything I was dealing with (good and bad) between 2020 and 2021… it was therapy for me.” – Young RJ
