Sundays in Atlanta are like Saturdays in Miami where the scene is full of vitality, beautiful souls and elevated energy. Delectable food, good friends to commune with and the keys to the authoritative 2020 RC F performance coupe is the perfect equation for a special afternoon full of zest. Accordingly, Automotive Rhythms TV (ARtv) teamed up with entertainment outlier Darian “Big Tigger” Morgan to profile his typical Sunday Funday lifestyle with an Ultra White RC F and continue the momentum of the Lexus 0 to 60 Racing Series.

For the ARtv shoot, John Cogan of Butler Lexus of South Atlanta blessed us with a fully-loaded RC F 2-door coupe featuring a potent 5-liter V8 outputting 472-horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque. Power is transmitted by way of a thrilling 8-Speed Sport Direct-Shift Transmission with steering mounted “F” Spec paddle shifters. Big Tigger, who is a car buff and collector, said he felt the vehicle’s sporty intent as soon as he jumped on Highway 285 S to head into the city from his peaceful Dunwoody neighborhood.

The V103 VJ and Atlanta Hawks DJ stays busy so an afternoon of pleasure is a warm welcome and helps keep Tigger sane. In fact, the Hawks were voted the number one NBA fan experience in the league which gave Tigger that extra boost to go deeper and harder. With that in mind the radio personality of 25 years was a fan of the 17-speaker Mark Levinson premium audio system and its pulsating 835 watts! Commingled with Apple CarPlay, Lexus Enform App Suite, SiriusXM, Smart Watch and Alexa Skill Integration, you can imagine how immersed he transcended within the Lexus entertainment haven.

It was 90 degrees in the shade on this day which kept the staggered Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires stuck to the asphalt for superior handling and stopping power along with Brembo sourced ventilated discs and Orange Metallic 6-piston calipers. Speed is always welcomed on an ARtv set, but sometimes you have to slow it down and enjoy the highlights a city has to offer while simultaneously allowing spectators to honor your ride rolling gracefully on 19” hand-polished 20-spoke forged alloy BBS rims. There is much to see in the Midtown area alone including Piedmont Park, Georgia Aquarium, Atlanta Botanical Garden, The Woodruff Arts Center, StateFarm Arena, Center for Civil and Human Rights, Atlantic Station, Centennial Olympic Park and of course Georgia Tech, home of the Yellow Jackets football team where I proudly played.

No matter what part of town you spend your time in Atlanta, the city is notoriously known for its lively brunch scene. Quite naturally Tigger lead us to Suite Food Lounge to enjoy the FUNDAY BRUNCH centered around a day party atmosphere. The modern, multi-floored club offers a few dining areas, a dance floor, patio, private rooftop area and omnipresent TV screens. Tigger was served Red Velvet Waffles, fruit and fresh juice to cool off the scene that the RC F set ablaze.

Afterwards he danced, mingled and took photos with fans. It was a perfect day in a well-suited sports machine to Experience Amazing!
