MAJILLA releases a two track EP of sorts titled “All Hell Broke Loose.”
Hailing form Akron, Ohio MAJILLA has an eclectic style combined with an unorthodox approach and androgynous tone. Her music ranges from Dark R&B/Trap to Alternative Hip-Hop. She just released two singles called “Jilla Jilla Jilla†and “Boy Boy.â€
MAJILLA connects with with UK based producer Razz for this collaboration. This double release is a dive down madness. Heaven and Hell. Before and After. “Jilla Jilla Jilla†is the before, or heaven. Whereas “Boy Boy†is the after, or hell. Each song brings an element of raw and grimy, keeping it authentic to what I wanted to deliver.
“The transition from “Jilla Jilla Jilla†being a final goodbye to the angel that was, to “Boy Boy†being the rebirth or resurrection of a new beginning, has these two songs being my favorite to come out. I also wrote the hook in JJJ for Drake on some Jumpman vibes but it didn’t work out.”
