Jamal Gasol and Bass Reeves release their new EP titled “The Novelty Of Standards.”
Niagara Falls own Jamal Gasol returns with his latest project this morning. The Novelty Of Standards is fully produced by New York’s own Bass Reevez and also has guest appearances from Rim and Sauce Heist. Fully armed with soulful beats Gasol said the significance of the project title is about “stepping my game up.” Evidence of that progression is in new video for “Cataract City / Superior Man” (both tracks appear on the project).
The Novelty Of Standards is available digitally now via Bandcamp and a limited CD edition is available via Jamal Gasol’s website (links for both appear below). Jamal Gasol has been releasing a non-stop string of quality projects. This includes recent releases such as Oxtail (with Deuce Ellis), The Ghost Of Fritz (Produced by Quis Star), The Black Ball EP (Produced by Blessed Girl) and the 100 Blunts In Venice release (Produced by DirtyDiggs).
