While in New York City last week to promote his latest album Almost Time, North Carolina emcee Mark Steele stopped by the Shade45 studios twice before hosting a culminating, intimate listening party and local coat drive event.
His first visit to the Sirius XM station was with DJ Enuff‘s The Heavy Hitters, where Steele discussed his journey as an artist, everyday life, his relationship with 9th Wonder, and more. Steele’s second visit was with Statik Selektah on ShowOff Radio, where he dropped off an impressive verse over Little Brother‘s “Speed,” from the group’s seminal debut album The Listening.
