Kydd Jones keeps applying pressure with his new singles “Chrome Hearts” and “Nocturnal” produced by NIP Productions. Chrome Hearts features additional instrumentation from Austin-based singer-songwriter/guitarist Bomani Ray Barton. Kydd says about the songs: “These were another of those familiar 3 AM in-house studio sessions where it’s just me, my thoughts and whatever I created musically. The isolation pushes out raw uncut emotions that I think the normal person feels but are just hard to say out loud.”
Kydd Jones is an Austin-born singer-songwriter/producer/emcee who has worked with artists such as Kirko Bangz (300 Entertainment) & Max Frost (Atlantic Records) and has performed at festivals like the Billboard Hot 100 Fest, Austin City Limits Music Festival, NXNE, the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival and more. Kydd’s next live performances will be on July 30th at Independence Brewery in Austin TX, July 31st with the Round Rock Express at Dell Diamond and will be accompanying Grammy Award winning guitarist Gary Clark Jr on select dates for the southwestern leg of his nationwide US tour this fall.
