Chicago, IL – April 25, 2024 – Taylor Bennett is many things, an artist, a dedicated father, a friend, producer, entrepreneur, the brother and manager to Chance the Rapper, an advocate for mental health and the LGBTQ+ community, amongst a handful of other titles. Through it all, he puts creativity and community at the forefront. He utilizes his vast music knowledge and variety of interests – everything from fashion, sports and music – to reach audiences of all backgrounds.

Today, the multi-genre artist known for his versatility and commitment to authenticity, is making a triumphant return to the rap game with his latest single, “2 Much.” The track features local Chicago artists Lala2Muchhh and King Louie, delivering a powerful depiction of the city’s underground music scene, the tight-knit creative community and the essence of true hip-hop.  Legendary creator DGainz (Chief Keef, Lil Durk)directs the new “2 Much” music video, which was co-directed by Taylor Bennett himself. 

Taylor Bennett fans have eagerly awaited for him to release new hip-hop music, and “2 Much” delivers on all fronts. Embodying the rich tapestry of Chicago culture, the single celebrates history while injecting new life into the genre. 

Reflecting on his musical journey, Taylor shares, “‘2 Much’ is a true representation of Chicago culture highlighting‘Footwork’ & ‘Juking’ a historic dance that spans generations originating on the South & West sides of Chicago. As a Black independent artist I feel the duty to enhance positive authentic spaces in my community.”

While Taylor Bennett’s last album ‘Coming of Age’ fulfilled the lifelong goal of collaborating with some of his idols in alternative rock, “2 Much” marks a return to his hometown roots, giving credit to his capacity to seamlessly blend genres and merge musical formats into one all-encompassing piece of art, captivating audiences from all walks of life. 

Throughout his many accolades and titles, Taylor somehow always makes time to engage with the community and “2 Much” is the absolute testament.
