PHOR debuts on SpitFireHipHop with his ‘Butterfly’ album.

PHOR’s latest album, “Butterfly,” is a metamorphosis. You probably already know him as a featured tattoo artist on the Vh1 show, “Black Ink Chicago.” The Chicago native is continuing to get under people’s skin across forms of media, and music isn’t a new canvas. His first two albums offered a playful view, but Butterfly expresses more maturity.

He feels that he’s showing the world a more accurate perspective of his character. On this latest release, PHOR is more comfortable and melodic. It’s the work of an artist finally coming into his own. Just don’t think he forgot how to have a good time. Butterfly features thirteen tracks, including the already immensely popular, “Chi-Town.”
