DillanPonders - The Boy Who Died

DillanPonders releases his new album ‘The Boy Who Died’.

The Boy Who Died‘ reframes death into a story of rebirth. It closes the loop on a series of projects and represents a new launching point for DillanPonders. His 2014 mixtape, The Boy Who Died, was based on the reckless, drug-fueled and hard partying scene where he first made his name. That lifestyle eventually drove him into a deep depression, in which he hit rock bottom and found himself homeless, sleeping in bus shelters and bank lobbies.

On THE BOY WHO DIED, Ponders reflects on rising from that low point, the crippling pain as his life came crashing down around him, the sweat of dragging himself out of a hole he dug, and the inspiration of achieving small successes on the path to his ultimate dream of a healthy life and sustainable music career.

The album is entirely produced by Australian powerhouse BVB, and the loan feature comes from the Grammy-nominated legendary Canadian soprano Measha Brueggergosman.
