J. Sands is back with a new album. The title comes from an interview Joe Biden did with Charlamagne tha God.
J. Sands has been putting on for his city for many years. Pittsburgh, also known as “The City of Champions” gave birth to several stars in the music history. On “Mac Wop” Sands and Hubbs (another Pittsburgh artist) tell a story of two artists from Pittsburgh. “Mac Wop” was inspired by Mac Miller who was a giant star in Hip-Hop, and Jimmy Wopo who was signed to Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang imprint and was murdered before his able to soar.
“Vote For Biden Or You Ain’t Black” is a showcase of the writing skills of J. Sands. He covers many of the social ills that face many of the people of this country everyday. The track “Karen” turns the light on the white women in this country who continue to cal the police on black people indiscriminate reasons.
