EM-LO Releases “Dishes Don’t Do Themselves” Album

EM-LO - Love This Feeling

EM-LO is back with his new album titled “Dishes Don’t Do Themselves.”

After laying dormant for nearly 15 years Brooklyn Microphone Phenom “EM-LO” releases a very mature project entitled “Dishes Don’t Do Themselves“. Grown Man vibes only on this project as the once badguy turned street legend delivers homogenous track after track over cinematic vibes put together by ATL Master Beat-smith “E. Smitty“.

“This is a very intimate project, I wanted to shed light on some truths, show my growth and make sure i put together a little something for the old and the new fans of hiphop”.

In “ConflictionEM-LO battles with his conscious on whether or not to do the right thing or make a decision that might hurt less people. “Love This Feeling” he expresses the highest of the highs in life when everything is going right and you feel total satisfaction and empowerment. What really sticks out about this whole project is the way EM-LO pens out real life struggles and situations and the rewards and consequences of the decisions you make.

Not too preachy, not too conscious, never a bland moment. “Drifter” is a record tackling drug addiction and abuse, while “Supernova” takes a ride back to 2005 when it was originally released off EM-LO’s 1st album “Existence Is Mandatory, Love Is Optional“. If you are a die hard hiphop fan, not one of these mega blog do-boys, you’ll love the fullness and content of this album.

Reminiscent to Pac, Pun, Big L, EM-LO dispatches clever bars with meaningful lyrics in a blend that will have you taking two steps forward and one step back each time to rewind and say “Did He Really Say That“. Nevertheless the project is out now on Sound Alive Records/SONY Distribution, stream the entire project now on #Spotify and enjoy “Dishes Don’t Do Themselves“.
