D-Gotti drops his new project titled “G Bidness.”
Most known for his acting in one of Houston’s legendary independent films, The Dirty 3rd, and for being a part of some of Houston’s most classic songs with Wreckshop Records, D-Gotti has had over 2 decades on the Houston music and film scene. After a nearly 13 year hiatus due to being incarcerated, D-Gotti is back, better, and continuing to express his clever way with words through his lyrics.
D-Gotti is no stranger to making hits as he has worked with Bun B, Erykah Badu, Big Moe, DJ Screw, Big Pokey, Project Pat, Z-Ro, and many others throughout his career. On September 21st, D-Gotti will release his latest project “OG Bidness.” The project is being released on his label, Plugged In Ent. in conjunction with Wreckshop Records.
“I’m blessed to be back to doing what I love and what I enjoy. I take my craft very seriously and it’s an honor to still be able to make music for my culture,” says D-Gotti. Music is currently at the forefront, but D-Gotti has also been a fan favorite when it comes to his acting skills. He played Sonny Bo-Bo in Wreckshop’s “The Dirty 3rd: Next Generation”, which was listed in the top 5 most watched films on Tubi for close to 6 months. His passion for film has also led him to write and direct a short film that will also be released this week titled after the album, “OG Bidness.”
D-Gotti will also host a give back community day in the apartment complex that he grew up in, Southlawn Palms Apartments on Saturday, September 23rd in Houston, Texas. Residents and the community will be able to enjoy free ice cream by Howdy Homemade Ice Cream, music, a bouncy house, and free haircuts and hairstyles.
