Matta Fact has been grabbing the attention of hip hop heads for a while, but like many greats who came before him, battles with health related road blocks, temporarily bring intentions of performing to a serious halt. At the age of 22 Matta Fact was diagnosed with kidney disease, a potentially deadly and chronic disease associated with high blood pressure, heavily affecting the African American community. After striving through the strenuous process of dialysis and surgical procedures, Fact vowed to himself that nothing would alter his path to success.
