Brotus – Thank You J. Cole

Brotus pens this new single titled ‘Thank You J. Cole’.

Upcoming Orlando emcee Brotus voices his appreciation for J. Cole and his latest album 4 Your Eyez Only in A very inspirational song and serves it as a Birthday gift as it releases on Coles birthday January 28th. “I live in a generation that is slowly pushing real hip hop aside and replacing it with alot of nonsense”

“I was on the verge of giving up on chasing a music career. I fell into a mental depression. The feeling of something you love being sabotaged right in front of your face can take a huge toll. I sat back and watch Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole and others be silent and saw Drake crossover and join the new wave which left me under the impression that in order to make it I’ll have to sound like the new wave of rappers and that’s what haunted me. I prayed about it and fought for awhile but eventually I was ready to call it quits, until cole dropped out of no where with the tracks ‘Everybody  Dies’ and ‘False Prophets’ than followed up with an album that was very inspiring word for word and song for song. On one of his songs he said ‘ I write what’s in my heart don’t give a fuck who who fucking with it’. I took it all in as God answering my prayers. I’ve never been so motivated in my life and I couldn’t find a better way to say thank you to this man. He changed my life and he doesn’t even know it.”  Brotus is a Rapper/SongWriter that definitely exceeds the level of potential required to make a name for himself in the music industry.
