‘Phone Keeps Ringing‘ is the first single from the “Side-B” of the forthcoming album “A Tape Called Fresh“. The song, which was written in less than a day by Vincent Van Great and Dana Coppa not only shows the duo’s chemistry through collaboration but also establishes their venture in a realm of dreamy modern hip-hop for which neither artist is particularly known.
This song illustrates the melding of old with new… styles, beats, and lyrics from both the early 90s intertwined with modern features of a 2018 single.
