Dominique Larue‘s affinity for Hip-Hop can be attributed to her older brother who provided her with what was a change of pace from the Gospel and R&B that she was accustomed to, introducing her to the likes of A Tribe Called Quest, Outkast, and Busta Rhymes. These rappers not only grabbed Larue’s ear, but they piqued her curiosity as well, inspiring her to write rhymes of her own.
