DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area MC and eight time Champ of WPGC 95.5’s Mic Fight, T.Lucas lyrically spars with fellow DMV, Lofi Hip-Hop veteran, Substantial on the new single, The New Balance (Live from the DMV).
The duo trade bars over a track self produced by Sub reminiscent of Golden Era 90s Boom Bap with masterful cuts by DJ RBI as the cherry on top. Lyricism, or a return to lyricism, is the new balance.
This is the debut single from T.Lucas and Substantial’s collaboration EP, entitled Dirty Sneakers due to release in late Spring.
