UFO Fev connects with Fat Joe for ‘Fentanyl Flow’ over a Cool & Dre track.
Born in East Harlem, New York City and raised in the Thomas Jefferson Houses; UFO FEV was inspired by his favorite rappers including Big Pun, Jay-Z and Beanie Siegel. FEV was raised in a household that was very musically diverse; listening to hip-hop, Latin, and freestyle. A major influence in his life was his father, Tony, from the internationally-known group TKA.
The name FEV was bestowed upon him by Black Rob. His exact words were, “You’re hot like a fever”, hence the name FEV which stuck. UFO comes from FEV’s journey for knowledge of self.
UFO FEV recently released Fresh Air, his recent collaborative album alongside legendary DJ/Producer Statik Selektah which was released in February. Fresh Air featured appearances from Termanology, Ransom and Eto.
FEV now re-emerges with his new single, “Fentanyl Flow†featuring Fat Joe. The track was premiered by Ebro/Beats 1/Apple Music.
“Fentanyl Flow†came about after a conversation Fat Joe and I had after he heard my project (Fresh Air) with Statik. I wanted to get Joe on something with that classic NYC hip hop feel†Fev stated.
