Kaz Money Drops ‘Bu Zelda’ Single

Kaz Money makes his debut on SpitFireHipHop with “Bu Zelda.”

After taking a long hiatus from releasing solo music, Swedish based rapper Kaz Money returns with Dubai based producer Mjeezy to drop their new single “Bu Zelda” a track designed to set off the next 24 months of planned releases.

Influenced by his Arabic roots and his daughter (Zelda), Kaz emphatically now refers to himself as Bu Zelda which translates from Arabic to mean Zelda’s father, a traditional way to refer to a father in the Middle East. The aggressive track displays Kaz’s impactful delivery over a simple but hard hitting Mjeezy beat. “We needed to set it off the right way and remind people we’re still here,” says Kaz.

For those that may not have heard of Kaz Money, he is better known as one third of the Dubai based pioneers The Recipe, and has worked with the likes of Kool Savas, Talib Kweli, Mobb Deep andSpark Master Tape. Kaz is known as a rap pioneer in his native Dubai and is well known for his humorous and intricate energetic rap style. On the other hand, while relatively new to the scene, Mjeezy is quickly becoming one of the go to producers from Dubai with a slew of releases over the past two years and has worked with the best the city has to offer across a wide range of genres as well as production credits on Charlie Sloth’s Fire in the Booth.

With many more collaborations and music in the bag, Kaz Money and Mjeezy are set to make 2021 an interesting year.
